With Phil Evans Photography a portrait is a time to play. Come for a fun filled photo session with no cheesy smiles or stiff poses. We will put you totally at ease and encourage you and the kids to be yourselves: We take as long as you need and help you to feel comfortable - this is when your photo session usually begins.

You can even personalise your session by bringing along some of your favourite things. Treasured toys, a special hat or a pendant with sentimental attachments all help to make your photos more special to you.

Choosing Your Photo’s…

Your preview appointment is a special event in itself. Relax and enjoy an exclusive multi-media screening of your images set to music in our studio. Because you’ll love so many of the images from your session, we allow plenty of time for you to select your favourites. You can then choose to have them transformed into stunning contemporary works-of-art to complement your home.

We want to be there with you to help capture the little things – those fleeting moments that you will look back on and treasure. With this aim in mind we offer existing clients extensive discounts on subsequent portrait shoots and coverage of important family occasions such as christenings, birthdays and anniversaries.

Something Even More Different? You Can Even Choose Your Location…

Many clients find it fun to vary the backdrop for each photographic session by having images taken on location rather than in the studio. Don’t feel you have to be confined to the summer months for a location portrait as each season has its own attractions.

You might want to consider having a Spring shoot in your garden or a local park with the daffodils and snowdrops, or when bluebells cover the floor of our local woods. Early morning frost and the vivid hues and warm lighting of autumn can be great settings too – and don’t forget the fun of winter snow!

You do need a certain amount of flexibility when making a booking for location portraiture because one thing we can’t control is the weather. So, when you make a booking we will ask you to make a second appointment – just in case!
