The Wedding of Terry and Hazel Sleight – 25th November 2011
Fanhams Hall is a fabulous location for a wedding, albiet a couple of hours drive away. As it is motorway all the way we decided to travel up the day before just so we didn’t get held up and stressed on the morning of the wedding. Just as well as there were three major accidents on the M25. It was lovely to spend some time with Hazel and her family the night before the wedding in the hotel bar.
The following morning was a clear blue sky although a little on the chilly side. After breakfast we did a quick recky around the grounds (even though I had met the couple at Fanhams Hall a few weeks before). to confirm our plan. We all had a bit of a surprise right after the ceremony as a large horse and owner had suddenly appeared in the courtyard. The horse, called Fly, was until recently owned by Hazel and her family so this was a wonderful surprise for Hazel and got a little emotional.
We arranged the required family shots fairly quickly as it was rather chilly so that the wedding guests could get back indoors to enjoy their drinks, meanwhile it was a leisurely wall around the lovely gardens of Fanhams Hall where it was very mild and we got some lovely pictures.
We then covered the speeches after the wedding breakfast and then some of my trademark moody images around the staircase and bridal suite. After the cutting of the cake and the first dance it was back in the car for leisurely drive home.
I have put together a little movie of some of my favourites.
