A Recent Wedding at Lainston House Hotel:
Fiona and John chose Lainston House Hotel, just outside Winchester for their wedding venue. The day started about an hour before the ceremony where we took some great shots of John and his groom’s men. I then found myself knocking on the bridal suite door where Fiona and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Fortunately she was dressed in good time which enabled me to take some great photographs of Fiona, her bridesmaids and of course mum. Fiona looked absolutely stunning as she stood clutching her flowers by the bedroom window as the light fell upon her.
The ceremony took place in Lainston House Hotel’s marvellous barn with it’s red brick walls and beamed ceiling. After the ceremony it was off to the main building for drinks and canapes on the terrace. We hovered around discreetly to shoot some very informal photographs of the couple greeting their guests.
The family photographs were taken on the main lawn next to the hotel and then it was a wander around the grounds with the bride and groom to get their more intimate and playful images. We stopped off overlooking the glorious Lime Walk and also at St Peter’s Chapel ruin.
Completely spoilt for choice, Lainston House Hotel provides picture perfect photo opportunities. Here are just a few which I hope you’ll enjoy.
